PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Vulcanized rubber - SUPERLON
An insulation product in tubes, profiles, standard flat sheets and rolls all of which are free of CFCs, HCFCs and O.D.P. Made from high-elastic light plastic used for insulation, it has many advantages such as:
- Durable and stable use, low thermal conductivity.
- Resistant to moisture and steam due to its sealed surface and tight interlocking cell structure.
-Resistant to ozone/UV rays and weather.
-High elasticity, easy to apply and clean.

Vulcanized rubber is the ideal insulation product to prevent the accumulation of water vapor on cold water or air conditioning transmission lines and against the formation of ice, reducing heat loss from hot pipes. or for both types and solar heating systems. It absorbs noise and forms an outer protective layer against atmospheric corrosion and polluted environments.
Insulation for cold (steam) pipes:
Because it does not generate dust particles and small fibers, the product is ideal for cold vapor conduction systems. It is favored because of the absence of small fibers that can affect health and the danger of small particles entering the pipeline. The product has very good resistance to moisture, mildew, worms and insect attacks. The surface is sealed, so there is no need to use an extra layer of protection or paint
The durable physical properties of the thermal material make up the product for a long service life with high stability and low thermal conductivity, which can be used for both indoor or outdoor insulation of cold steam piping.
Insulation for hot water piping systems:
Very high insulation efficiency when used for external hot water pipes. Due to its exceptional ozone/UV and weatherproof properties, it is the leading insulation product for use in external piping of solar thermal systems. It is also very safe to use for construction that requires high safety and hygiene
This is one of the reasons this product is widely used as an alternative to mineral fiber insulation for hot water pipes in hotels, hospitals, homes and factories. It is also highly effective in preventing water from freezing in pipes when the heating system is off or during periods of inactivity making it an ideal material for hot water pipes due to the following properties:

- Working temperature up to 125 degrees Celsius.

- Ozone, UV and weather resistant for outdoor use.

- Durable, low thermal conductivity during use.

- Does not absorb water vapor.

- High elasticity, easy to work. No coating or external protection is required for outdoor use.

Insulation for cold water pipes and freezing systems:

Used for chilled water piping and freezing system not only to resist condensation but also to reduce energy loss by reducing system heat loss, widely used in freezing system and central air conditioners due to the following advantages:
- Low and stable thermal conductivity
- Very little water vapor absorption.
- Conforms to international smoke and fire safety standards.
- Has a durable micro-cell structure, made of a polymer-free substance that is highly resistant to water and moisture.
- High elastic properties make application very easy. Creates a clean, beautiful appearance when finished. No coating required for indoor use.

SUPERLON CLASS 1

Superlon Class 1 insulation is a flexible elastomeric nitrile foamed rubber engineered and designed specifically to control condensation and effectively prevents energy loss. Its main uses are for insulating pipeworks for air conditioning ductings, chilled water lines and refrigerated pipes. Superlon Class 1 can also be used for hot water and heating systems to prevent heat loss.

Superlon Class 1 has been tested for British Standard (BS) 476 part 7 for Surface Spread of Flames. It can minimize the spread of flames and is one of the most common standards used for building projects. With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing nitrile foam rubber, Superlon delivers utmost quality along with prompt reliable services.

Superlon FM Approved

Superlon’s Factory Mutual (FM) Approved insulation material is tested to the highest and most stringent standards and can help prevent fire propagation at the most critical times. Not only can Superlon’s FM Approved insulation can prevent fire propagation, it also does not drip whilst being burned unlike other FM Approved insulation products in the market. Furthermore, our FM Approved insulation does not contribute to fire spread and it will self-extinguish once the fire stops.

SUPERLON HD

Superlon HD material is a higher density alternative for regular line of Superlon insulation materials. It is harder, stronger and tougher with a higher tensile strength than other equivalent materials in the market. 
Superlon HD is designed to tailor to different demands in the market as higher density products are increasingly popular amongst HVAC installers around the world looking for harder and tougher materials.
Superlon HD is highly durable with a shore C hardness of greater than 10 and a density of greater than 70km/m³. Furthermore, like all other Superlon products, every piece of Superlon HD material is engineered, produced and controlled with stringent procedures to ensure quality and effectiveness.
